Cannabis Day is moving to Thornton Park at Pacific Central Station in Vancouver this July 1, 2017.
Join us for our celebration of cannabis and Canada with music, activist speakers, a marijuana farmers market and more – downtown Vancouver at the corner of Main Street and Terminal Avenue.
The first Cannabis Day in Vancouver was in 1996, but the protest goes back even further to the late 1970s. Read The History of Cannabis Day by marijuana activist David Malmo-Levine.
Cannabis Day includes a large Marijuana Farmers Market where vendors sell a rainbow of marijuana products and pot-infused edibles and other ganja goodies.
The celebration has traditionally taken place at the Vancouver Art Gallery but is moving this year to avoid construction and other city events scheduled there on July 1.
The new location is at Thornton Park at Pacific Central Station – 1166 Main Street (at the corner of Main St. and Terminal Ave. – see map.
Celebrate cannabis and Canada this July 1. See you there!
